One of our big missions is to support future STEM leaders. So, this year’s student outreach project aims to rocket one San Diego County 5th or 6th grader into a science-filled week of adventure at AstroCamp in Idyllwild, CA.
Weather permitting (okay… internet permitting), the Blast Off 2 AstroCamp is going to launch

We picked up the $2,000 tab for tuition, so cost isn’t a barrier for a student who ❤️s STEM and wants a chance to learn and play at an incredible science retreat in the mountains.
Who Can Apply?
Any 5th or 6th grade student in San Diego County:
✅ Public school
✅ Private school
✅ Charter school
✅ Homeschool

The Basics
The application will open on October 1st at OPM’s website.
Each eligible student may submit ONE application.
The winner will be drawn at random from completed entries in February 2023.
AstroCamp’s week-long sessions begin in June 2023.
